My Focus

I specialize in couples and relationships, betrayal trauma for partners hurt by infidelity, sexuality concerns, and chronic pain/illness. I also have many years of experience working with clients focused on: depression, anxiety, identity exploration, body image, women’s health, navigating difficult life transitions, trauma, and healthy communication/boundary setting. 

I work with couples using a blend of several modalities, including the Gottman Method, Sensate Focus, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and more. I love working with couples to map out their patterns, understand the influence of their family of origin experiences and attachments on their current relationships, intentionally build healthy communication and navigate the challenges to emotional and physical intimacy that may pop up over the lifespan.

Individually, I have extensive training in several empirical treatments including DBT, CBT, ACT, and multiple trauma therapies. I love to co-create a plan for individual therapy that holistically addresses my clients concerns and promotes wellness across all aspects of their lives. When working with individuals experiencing betrayal trauma, I utilize the Posttraumatic Growth Model for Intimate Betrayal to help alleviate trauma symptoms, manage trauma triggers and reactions, calm obsessive thoughts, create emotional balance, heal core wounds that arise, move through the grief process, connect with self-worth, and help my clients regain peace and stability in life.
